As you look at the chart above you see our lake's phosphorus level averages in the high end of lakes in similar Ecoregions.

  

 

The type of water shed that surrounds a lake determines which Ecoregion it falls into.  Your Eagle Lake Improvement 

 

Association is proactive in working with the local county water quality departments to promote projects that will help 

 

minimize the amount of pollutants that enter our lake.  

 

The filamentous Algae we're experiencing is a result of high phosphorus.
