Call to Order: President Dave Knapper at 7:26 P. M.

A. Secretary’s Report: Motion by Dave to approve secretary’s report. Seconded by Kim. Motion was approved.

Treasurer’s Report:

A. Treasurer’s report was approved. There were $274 in expenses in May. Income of $1640 for dues. Motion by Tammy to approve treasurer’s report. Seconded by Dave. Motion was approved.

Committee Reports:

A. Water Quality (Kim, Bill, Norm) –

1 Sample were recently taken and sent in

B. Events (Beth) –

1 Garage Sale – There were about 32 sales this year

2 June Social – Glen will donate and get paper products. Come early to help set up (5:30). CARD group will do a short presentation at 7:15.

3 4th of July Boat Parade – Kim and Debbie will buys candy (ask Nola how much she bought last year) and snack size Ziploc’s. Board members will be contacted when we have the candy and can pick some up to put in baggies! Knapper’s pontoon will lead. We need Board Members to ride if they are not participating with their own boat. We will use Kim’s fishing boat near access to get photos of all boats, hand out number and candy. If the weather is bad, we will have someone at the access telling people we won’t be having a parade. Beth will purchase 3 prizes for most original, most patriotic and most kid participation (Darwin will check on a donation from Big Kahauna for the kid prize – Beth be in contact with Darwin). Each prize should be about $25. Judges on the shore as well as board members may include: Jan Westby, Barb Dale, Chuck & Nancy Gustafson. Dave will check on advertising the boat parade in the West Central Tribune under the activities section.

4 Annual Picnic – Please ask for donations for prizes. Ideas discussed were: Norm (Caps), Darwin (Big Kahauna), Glen (McDonald’s), Dave (Pepsi), Tammy (Valley Golf). Bring prizes or a list of what you have to the next board meeting.

C. Membership (Dan, Darwin) –

1 A few more new people on the lake. Moe’s house on CO Rd 9 sold.

D. Newsletter (Tammy) – Went through rough draft. Suggestions made included: Pictures for social and not having CARD sentence with the getting acquainted part. Pictures for boat parade & garage sale. Need a full-page report from Glen for Water Quality. Add a Did you Know sections for fishing rules and regulations. Who to contact if you have new neighbors or want a directory.

Old Business:

A. Gravel Pit – Dave attended a Green Lake Township board meeting where the CARD group asked for a moratorium for Duinincks to not open any more pits for 1 year.

New Business:

A. Eagle Lake Directory – If you are a paid member, you can receive one. Contact Dan Tepfer for a copy.

B. New Resident Packet – talked about additions and deletions. We will rearrange the pages for order of importance.

C. Country Store Signs – Update pages and put them up.

D. Flag – Uncommon price for 50 flags - $2500. Hanson Advertising for 50 flags was $352. Motion by Kim to purchase 50 car size flags with Eagle Lake logo on them from Hanson Advertising. Norm seconded. Motion approved. Dave will order and have ready for 4^th of July parade. All entrants will receive a fag for participation.

Meeting Adjourned: There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8:50.
