Members Present: Kim Baker, Bill Dale, Dave Knapper, Tammy Knapper, Erik Pentz, Glen Simons, Marly Tebben, Dan Tepfer, Norman Westby

Members Absent: Gary Hanson

Call to Order: President Norm Westby at 7:11 P. M.

Secretary’s Report: Motion by Dave to approve July secretary’s report, with corrections. Seconded by Bill. Motion by Bill to approve Aug secretary’s report, with corrections. Seconded by Erik.

Treasurer’s Report: Income from t-shirts, expense from annual picnic (food & prizes) and water testing. Motion by Erik to approve treasure’s report. Seconded by Marly.

Committee Reports:

A. Water Quality –

1. Glen was absent; clarity is about 5 ft for the last few weeks.

B. Events –

1 Leaf Pick Up – October 24

C. Membership – Currently at 168 members.

D. Newsletter –

1. Discussed changes and suggestions. Try to get out early Oct. Tam will send rough copy to all to look over, then Glen can take to the printers.

Old Business:

A. No Dumping Signs – there seems to have been a good response

B. Eagle Lake T-Shirts – Have about 26 left to sell. Discussed ordering more and youth sizes. Bill made a motion to place a minimum order with a variety of youth sizes. Erik seconded. Motion carried. The design will be the same as the adult sizes.

New Business:

A. Welcome boat – Shram (new Rice CEO) is new owner at 5979 24^th St NE (Fiebelkorn’s). House sold at 4007 N Eagle Rd (Jerry Phillips’s)

B. Water level – If a change (putting boards in at the damn) is to be made, signatures will need to be gathered from all lake owners and the DNR and other groups may need to be involved. Norm will follow up and talk with Ethan and Bruce before our next meeting. The currently level is where the water is supposed to be, according to the damn.
