Members Present: Bill Dale, Dave Knapper, Tammy Knapper, Glen Simons, Dan Tepfer, Beth Tepfer, Dick Thynes, Norman Westby
Members Absent: Kim Baker, Darwin Madden
Call to Order: President Dave Knapper at 7:10 P. M.
Committee Reports:
A. Water Quality (Glen)
1.
Review charts summarizing clarity, chemical levels
and watershed reading from the past 7 years.
2.
MN Pollution Control website can be accessed to
compare lakes in the area for clarity, etc.
B.
Events
1.
Leaf up pick
up date set for October 27. Meet at
public access at 8.00 a.m.
2.
Keep an accurate list of homes where leaves are
picked up from. If they are not
currently a member, we will draft a letter and send at the next meeting.
3.
Kim will host a breakfast afterward.
4.
Glen & Dick cannot attend on the 27th,
so they volunteered to pick up the brush by the damn.
5.
Current volunteers include:

New members - Jay Bethler bought Pearce’s house on
south end.

Old Business:
A.
Website –
Gary is in Europe. Glen will contact him when he gets back and
get the website up and running.
Hopefully this will be done by the annual meeting.
New Business:
A.
Gun Range – Concern from members on Co Rd 9 of
shooting at 6:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Does Green Lake Township have an ordinance
for noise? Dave will follow up on this.
Meeting Adjourned: There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9.00.
Next Meeting: November 13 at Dick Thynes (4851 22nd St NE, near outlet/damn) at 7:00p.m.
December 11 at Dave Knapper at 7:00p.m. (Spouses encouraged to attend. We will have a social time and then a short business meeting)
