New Business:  Presentation by Don Baker and Mark Erickson (2 of 7 current owners of Sunray Water Tower).  They discussed options for Eagle Lake residents.  The tower could be sold or the residents could just hook up to the tower and use for a monthly fee.  Don Christianson of MN rural water encouraged the owners to sell to the Eagle Lake Association.  He is available to help secure grants, etc.  The townships and County have given the Ok for the current owners to proceed with talking to the Eagle Lake Board.  The Tower is currently up to code and holds 100,000 gallons.  It has been fixed twice lately for about $70,000 and includes a new paint, well, casing and sealed tank.  Currently 40 people use the tower for a cost of $32/month, but it can supply 500 homes.  If Eagle Lake uses, another well will have to be dug.  The piping is currently under the highway, but not sure where.  Mic Schmindt from City of Willmar said they will not bring water to Eagle Lake.  There are two antennas on the tower and are leased.  Currently a great maintenance man is hired.

Discussion & Follow-up:  Board needs to explore cost of buying or using water from Sunray Tower.  Dan will talk to Ron about Green, Henderson, George Lake’s water.  Norm will contact Kandiyohi County EDC.
