Board Meeting – 7:00PM

Members Present: Tammy Knapper, Glen Simons, Marly Tebben, Norman Westby

Members Absent: Kim Baker, Bill Dale, Gary Hanson, Dave Knapper, Erik Pentz, Dan Tepfer

Guests Present: Bob Ast, Doris Ast, Sue Dallmann (Long Lake Board Members)

Call to Order: President Norm Westby at 7:06 P. M.

Secretary’s Report: Motion by Glen to approve October’s secretary’s report, with corrections. Seconded by Marly.

Treasurer’s Report: Income from interest. Expenses none. Motion by Glen to approve treasure’s report. Seconded by Marly.

Committee Reports:

A. Water Quality - SWAG Grant - will not pay for equipment. You can only apply for water monitoring. It is an eight page application and very detailed. Decided to continue to apply with Kandiyohi County for water monitoring expenses.

B. Events – Leaf Pick Up – October 24 – Approximately 30 homes participated. This was 3 trailer loads of leaves taken to the landfill. Tow non-board members participated. Breakfast at 9:30 at Knapper’s following.

C. Membership – No report, as Dan was absent. Dan needs to work on the Excel document so Glen can use it to send the Annual meeting notice.

D. Annual Billing Letter – Will be mailed out after the December meeting.

E. Annual Meeting – Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Spicer Legion. 5:30 Social, 6:30 Meal, 7:00 meeting. Chicken and Roast Beef Buffet. Entertainment – bring ideas to December meeting. Who wants to continue on the 2010 Board? Let Glen or Norm know.

Old Business:

A. Eagle Lake T-Shirts – No report as Dan was absent.

New Business:

A. Welcome boat – No new owners that we are aware of.

B. DNR Water Level Discussions – There is deterioration at the outlet. Norm, Glen and Ethan (DNR) will meet on site and report back at the December Board meeting.

C. New Directory 2010 – Discussion at the Annual Meeting. Some would like to see it printed in alphabetical order and lake order (as you travel around the lake – on the lake). Discussion to sell ads like last time and have it pay for itself.

D. December meeting – Thursday December 3 – Spouses are welcome. Bring an appetizer to share. Beverages will be provided. We will have the social first and then the business meeting.
