Call to Order: President Bill Dale at 7:16 P. M.

Secretary’s Report: Motion by Norm to approve February secretary’s report. Seconded by Glen.

Treasurer’s Report: Motion by Norm to approve treasurer’s report. Seconded by Dave.

Committee Reports:

A. Water Quality (Kim, Bill, Glen) –

1 Water samples were taken once in the month of April (3 sites along Co Rd 26, Halvorson, Lawler, Dale’s dock)

2 Glen will continue to order containers

3 Sampling should take place once a month and about 1.2 of these should be after rain events.

B. Events (Beth) –

1 Garage Sale – weather was poor (cold, rainy). Discussion to change weekend. Decided not to, as it is tradition to do it on fishing opener. About 38-40 participants. Advertising at Country Store was great (92 garage sales was listed on the sign).

2 June Social – Wednesday, June 11 at Baker’s/Knapper’s. Beth will need to purchase plates, napkins and plastic silverware.

C. Membership (Dan, Dick) –

1 No new members noted.

D. Newsletter (Tammy) –

1 We will add the website to the heading of the newsletter.

2 If you have any ideas for the newsletter, send them to Tammy.

3 Next newsletter will be sent out after the 4^th of July boat parade.

4 Include information on the History of Eagle Lake – information and pictures can be sent directly to the webmaster.

Old Business:

1. Gravel Pit/CARD update – Board read letter from CARD group indicating the group will not appeal the ruling made by Judge Harrelson.

New Business:

1. Website – We need information to put on the history page. We will advertise for someone or information in the newsletter. Board members are encouraged to look at the website and come with suggestions to discuss at the next meeting. Recycling information could be added.

2. Hwy 23/71 – Glen will continue to be part of this group, but he will also keep the president aware of the meetings. Bill will email all board members when there is a meeting. Kim usually attends meetings also. There is a meeting on May 20 from 5-7. All board members are invited to participate. The board will discuss the meeting at our June meeting and come up with a consensus so we can provide recommendations to the 23/71 group for Eagle Lake as a whole.

3. Billing Statement – Glen printed the statements and we all stuffed envelopes. Dan will get these sent out.
