Proof the copy in July and then send. Print Masters is much cheaper then Baker. Quality also is better. Eric made a motion to do printing with Print
Masters for the July newsletter. Dave
seconded it. Discussion that Speedy
Print owner lives on the lake. Bill will
talk to him and Glen will email him for a bid and a sample to compare quality.
Old Business:
A.
No Dumping Signs – $25 each for 2
of them. 1 will go in SE corner and 1
near Tepfers’ cabin.
They need posts. Glen can
probably get some and Erik volunteered to help install the posts.
B.
Water Testing Funds – Glen has already
submitted the request.
C.
Eagle Lake T-shirt’s – Shirts are about $7 each.
Bill motioned to order 40 shirts in various sizes in a light blue with
yellow lettering. Seconded by Dave. Discussion about getting stuck with some
sizes. Sell for $10 each. Logo will be the same as the flags (on the
back of t-shirt) with saying Life is Great at Eagle
Lake above the logo. Took orders for
specific sizes for board members. Motion
passes.
D.
Diving Tower – Marly didn’t
talk to the sheriff yet, but he will.
Dave Holmquist told Marly to speak directly to the sheriff’s office.
New Business:
A.
Welcome Boat – Someone interested
in buying on N Eagle Rd called to inquire about sewer.
B.
Dovre
Township Trail in SW corner of Lake (by outlet) – Norm talked to
Harry Fenstra about liability insurance and it would
add $135 to our current policy to cover the 660 ft of trail. People who maintain the trail are actually
those responsible to pay for it, not the board.
Tammy motioned to not provide liability insurance for the 660ft of trail
on the SE corner of the lake. Glen
seconded it. Motion passed.
C.
South
End Order issue – Glen received communication from Abram’s and Mary Beth Nehl about the
smell and weeds on the lake. Glen
checked out the south end and there is moss, floating algae and it stinks. This has been an issue all around the lake
aver the past couple of years. Glen will
ask residents for a sample to take to the DNR for evaluation and then a course
of action.
Meeting Adjourned:
Motion to adjourn at 9:19PM by Dave. Second by Bill.
Next Meeting: Marly Tebben’s on Wednesday, July 8 at 7:00
Respectfully submitted,
Tammy Knapper, Secretary
