Call to Order:
President Dave Knapper at 7:10 P. M.
A.
Secretary’s Report: Motion by Norm to approve secretary’s
report. Seconded by Glen. Motion was approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
A.
There were $579 in expenses in July. Income of $270 for dues. Several outstanding
bills. Motion by Norm to approve
treasurer’s report. Seconded by
Dave. Motion was approved.
Committee Reports:
A.
Water Quality (Kim, Bill, Norm) –

Average of 6 ft. for secci disk for past 3 weeks. Still about 8 ft average

Bruce Gilbertson said it is ideal growing conditions
for weeds.

Events (Beth) –
1
4th of July Boat Parade – There we lots of
spectators. The number of candy bought
was perfect (10 large bags from Sam's, divided into snack bags with about 8
pieces each). Winners of the parade were
Peterson's (patriotic), Hoffman's (original), Klein's (kids). The Board received 2 think you letters for
the prizes from the parade (Hoffman's & Peterson's).

Annual Picnic – Arrive at 5:00 at Glen's to help set
up. Dave will call Bob Fader and ask for
a donation of water for the picnic (894-5252).
Dave will check with Bernick's for a pop donation or he will buy 4-5
cases. Tam will bring the nametags. Kim will bring what paper products we have
let and Beth will buy more if we need them.
Prizes donated from Norm (6 hats), Glen (10-McDonald's $10 gift certificates),
Dave (ask Pepsi for a donation), Tam (ask Valley Golf for a donation, Board (12
Eagle Lake Flags). Motion by Dave to
spend $150 to buy picnic prizes.
Seconded by Dan. Motion was
approved. Beth will buy them. Meal - order for about 125 people for meat
and 1/2 as much salad as last year. Dave
will bring the sound system.
C.
Membership (Dan, Darwin) –
1
A few more new people on the lake. Erickson's on the north side and Schwitter's
sold on the west side.
D. Newsletter (Tammy) – Will finish and get to Glen to proof
and deliver to printer.
Old Business:
A. Gravel Pit – No new information.
New
Business:
A. Flags – Were given out to all 4th of
July Boat Parade participants. Extras
will be sold at the picnic for $5. each.
An ad will be put in the July newsletter informing people they will be
sold on a first come first serve system.
