Call to Order: President Norm Westby at 7:26 P. M.

Secretary’s Report: Motion by Dave to approve December and January secretary’s report. Seconded by Bill.

Treasurer’s Report: Summary of 2008 included Income of $6180, Expense of $5833 with a Net Income of $377. The budget for 2009 was set. Motion by Bill to approve 2009 budget. Seconded by Kim.

Committee Reports:

A. Water Quality –

1 Nothing to report

B. Events –

1 Annual Meeting 25 – Went well! Dave will reserve Spicer Legion for 2010 annual meeting on Friday, Jan 8. He may explore other locations and get a price for the meal.

C.Membership –

1 At each board meeting, we will try to update who is new on the lake and get those names to our Welcome Boat Committee. New people to the lake include Paul and Lorene Wachtler.

D. Newsletter –

1 Bring a working copy in March to look over. Will be sent after April meeting.

Old Business:

A. Welcome Boar – The board needs to get names to our committee members, so they can talk to prospective new members! The new resident’s packet needs to be updated. Tam will send a copy to Norm.

B. Weed Roller Letter – The letter never got accomplished and is now a done deal. Norm will follow up with Skip Wright for current information on weed rollers of summer 2009.

B. Eagle Lake Apparel – Dan Tepfer will check with MN Screen Print on pricing form T-shirts, Hats, and Flags. Ideas included “Can’t wait to get back to the Lake” on the back of the shirts.

C. New Membership Book Published – Put off until 2010, as still have some from 2006 (previously did every 3 years).
